Theater Assistance

Through the generosity of the Freschi gifts the Foundation approved a grant for $25,000. A check for the grant was handed to Paul Stewart, Chair of the Ross Ragland Theater Board of Directors, by Jim McCabe, Chair of the Ross Ragland Foundation Board of Directors.

The grant provided assistance for completing small updating projects undertaken within the theater. Paul remarked, “The theater appreciates all grant monies and especially appreciates the Ross Ragland Foundation continued support.”

Endowment Fund Created

The initial gift for establishment of the Charles R. Dunbar Endowment Fund has been received. The Fund was created through the generosity of Charles Dunbar’s estate. Charles was a dedicated supporter of the Ross Ragland Theater for many years.

He not only was a faithful patron, but also an active volunteer. One significant contribution of his time was the hours he spent attaching donor appreciation metal plaques to the arm rests of theater seats.

As the endowment receives additional funds and the investment earnings accumulate there will be sufficient funds for grants to the theater. An excellent example of Gift Giving That Endures.
