Community Success Story
When the Klamath Falls community came together in 1991 to bring the Ross Ragland Theater back to life, a legacy of giving was established. Many community members donated funds toward establishing an endowment fund to be managed by the RAGLAND RIFE FOUNDATION. The THEATER became the cornstone for performing arts and culture in the community.

The 740+ seat theater provides an outstanding venue for touring bands, specialty acts, comedians, concerts, multi-cultural events and locally produced musicals. It is common for artists/performers to comment on the excellent venue Klamath Falls is so lucky to provide. It is gifts from people like you that help preserve the endowment for the benefit of future generations. Ongoing support is necessary for the RAGLAND RIFE FOUNDATION to continue its history of providing funds from the endowment to assist the THEATER with financial needs that may arise.
GOAL FOR GROWTH The RAGLAND RIFE FOUNDATION was established in 1991 to provide support for the Ross Ragland Theater. The original goal was to establish an enduring endowment by the end of 1998. This goal was achieved and the long-term life of the FOUNDATION and its support role for the THEATER endures. Since its inception the FOUNDATION has provided almost $1 million for operating costs, building maintenance, art and cultural programs and expansion.
The FOUNDATION continues its role as support for the THEATER and strives to grow the FOUNDATION's financial strength. The FOUNDATION endowment funds are designated to utilize earned income and preserve the principal. Growth of the FOUNDATION’S principal can grow in two manners. One is contributions that add to the principal balance of the endowment. The second is deferred gifts. Deferred gifts provide for future financial stability.
